At Welburn Hall, we place great value on creating meaningful shared experiences that bring our whole school community together.
Each week, we explore a whole-school theme linked to our SMC calendar. Learners are given time to investigate and reflect on the theme in ways that suit them best before proudly sharing their learning during our Friday Celebration Assembly. This is always a joyful opportunity to recognise effort, creativity and achievement across the school.
Every class also has the chance to host its own class assembly linked to a theme, and parents and carers of learners in that class are warmly invited to join us for these special occasions.
Celebration is an important part of life at Welburn Hall. Every Friday afternoon, we come together as a whole school to recognise and celebrate our key values, achievements and positive contributions.
On Wednesdays, we are delighted to welcome charity volunteer Mrs Wilshaw, who leads a thoughtful and inclusive religious assembly, encouraging reflection and understanding.
Beyond the classroom, our learners enjoy a wide range of enriching opportunities. Alongside lunchtime activities, we offer a variety of extra-curricular events—many of which are inspired, organised and led by our learners themselves. These include residential trips, fashion shows, art and craft events, performances, fundraising activities and much more.
