At Welburn Hall School, we are committed to helping our learners stay safe online. Through age-appropriate lessons and regular discussions, we teach pupils how to use the internet safely, responsibly, and respectfully. This includes recognising online risks, protecting personal information, understanding healthy online relationships, and knowing how to report anything that makes them feel worried or unsafe. We also work closely with parents and carers to promote positive online safety habits both in school and at home.
We provide parents and carers with the annual Knowsley City Learning Centres Parental Controls Guide, offering practical advice on setting up devices, apps, and gaming platforms to help keep children and young people safe online at home.
