Counselling Sessions
Welburn Hall now has provision for counselling sessions for students.
There is a simple referral process for the students which can be done by the teachers and parents/carers. Download the referral form, complete, and e-mail it back to the school.
Special School Nursing Team
We work closely with the Special School Nursing Team to ensure our learners’ health, wellbeing and medical needs are well supported. The team provides specialist advice, support and training for staff, works in partnership with families, and helps to ensure that every child can access their education safely and confidently.
Wellbeing In Mind Team
We work in partnership with the Wellbeing in Mind Team to promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing across our school community. They provide advice, guidance and support for learners, families and staff, helping to develop strategies that enable young people to thrive both in school and beyond.

Relationships
Developing positive relationships is an important part of growing up and supports children’s emotional wellbeing, confidence, and safety. Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, kindness, honesty, and good communication. They help us feel valued, supported, and safe.
It is equally important for you to recognise the signs of unhealthy relationships. Unhealthy relationships may involve controlling behaviour, disrespect, intimidation, manipulation, or actions that make someone feel unsafe, worried, or unhappy.
