Welburn Hall is a North Yorkshire County Council maintained special school, recognised for its excellence in supporting children and young people aged 8 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs.

Welburn Hall has a wonderful memory of being featured on television when Channel 5’s Yorkshire Vet, Peter, visited the school to meet our pupils and talk about our new goats.
His visit created a real buzz within the school community, as pupils had the chance to ask questions, share their knowledge and proudly show off their animals. The appearance on TV was a special moment that continues to be remembered as an exciting chapter in the school’s history, celebrating both our pupils’ enthusiasm and our unique learning environment.
